Rajmund Kanelba (Odessa 1899 - Warszawa 1974) studied in Warsaw Fine Art. Academy under S.Lentz and T.Pruszkowski, further continued his education in Vienna and Paris where he moved definitely in 1926, joinig the Montparnasse group of artists. He exhibited in Paris Salons as well as in London, Edinborough, Glasgow, Berlin, Bordeaux, Brusselsm New York, Chicago, Philadelphia. During the WW2 Kanelba lived in Great Britain. He painted landscapes, still lives, nudes and portraits, especially mastering women and children studies. In fifties Kanelba made a portrait of the Queen Elisabeth II.
